Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the contribution of waqf instruments to economic development and social development by addressing the theoretical framework of waqf instruments on the one hand, as well as highlighting the importance and role of these instruments in achieving development on the other hand, as well as the experiences of Malaysia, Sudan, Kuwait end United Arab Emirates.

The study concluded that waqf instruments have a significant developmental role, which is reflected in the establishment of developmental projects that contribute to alleviating the burden of the state and providing the basic needs of the poor, in addition to combating poverty and unemployment through the establishment of funds dedicated to this.
