The tasks of the military establishment in the United Arab Republic (1958-1961), whether in the northern sector of the first army or the southern section in Sinai, were in how to preserve the border areas of the republic and work not to penetrate it by the Zionist entity, being the archenemy who was plotting the conspiracies to thwart the unity.
The United Arab Republic was subjected to numerous attacks by the aforementioned entity, but it was unsuccessful besides the plot by the Soviet Union to thwart the unity.
Therefore, the military establishment had a role in thwarting these conspiracies
