The research aims to know the effectiveness of using: 1- Barman's model in the achievement of scientific concepts among first-intermediate grade students.2- The Felder-Silverman model in the achievement of scientific concepts among first-grade intermediate students The research was limited to female students of the first intermediate grade in the Elaf Intermediate School for Girls affiliated to the General Directorate of Education in Baghdad / Rusafa 3 for the academic year 2017-2018 from the first course and on the four chapters of the Science Book / Part One, where the researcher followed the experimental design of three groups studied for the first group according to Barman's model The second experimental group according to the Felder - Silverman model.

The group is controlled according to the usual method.

The three groups were rewarded in several variables.

As for the search tool, the researcher prepared a scientific concepts achievement test consisting of (40) objective paragraphs of the multiple-choice type.

The researcher verified the validity and reliability of the test and the psychometric properties.

The data were processed statistically and the results showed the superiority of the Felder - Silverman model over the Barman model.

The two models also outperformed the method.

In light of this, the researcher developed a set of recommendations and proposals
