Abstract EN

this paper is dealt with the studying of one of the hidden shrines in ancient Baghdad cemetery which is the mosque and shrine of the prophet joshua according to its biggest historical importance by describing it as one of the prophet who is mentioned in holy Quran, the study concentrated on the building in all historical stages limited specially on the repairing works in that era.

the research aims to document one of the important religious status in Baghdad which is the descriptive study depending on the fields visit and putting diagram clears the form of shrine and accurate measuring in addition to enhance it with photographs and it had considered as the inherited civil of Baghdad.

the study had arrived to results that must be useful in the field of specialist academic study about Islamic heritage that it had also considered as discovering the important sides in religious architecture because it had made a series of shrines recorded in the field of architecture
