Abstract EN

The current research aimed at investigating the effectiveness of the social dialogue program in acquiring the values of social cooperation and tolerance among the first year university students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The current research adopted the quasi- experimental method for assessing the effectiveness of the research program in developing the values of social cooperation and tolerance among the research participants.

The research adopted the one-group design with the pre and post-test due to its suitability for the nature of the research.

The present research developed a questionnaire as an instrument for collecting data in order to measure the levels of social cooperation and tolerance after assuring its validity and reliability.

The sample of the research consisted of 79 university students who enrolled in the first year.

The results of the statistical analysis of the data attained showed that the program presented was effective in developing the values of social cooperation and tolerance among the first year university students.
