Oil acquires its importance from its nature as a strategic commodity and has an effective impact on various economic activity, and plays a fundamental role in defining the course and nature of sustainable development, and is a major source of income for producing countries, as well as tracking its importance as an important commodity in foreign trade, as the economy has suffered from abnormal conditions It lasted more than three decades, starting with the Iraq-Iran war at the beginning of the eighties of the last century and then the first Gulf war in (1991) and the economic blockade, and the second Gulf war in (2003) then the terrorist organizations and their implications for indicators of sustainable development.
