This study aims to reveal the role of perceived social support in alleviating psychological trauma among victims of terrorism, and considering perceived social support as one of the factors helping to control the severity of psychological disorders following exposure to terrorist attacks, and through this we asked the study question: “What is the role of social support In order to answer this question, we relied on the application of the Perceptual Social Support Scale, and the PTSD Scale emanating from the Population Mental Health Scale that was adapted to the Algerian environment by the Algerian Association for Psychological Research.

The study enumerated 50 cases of victims of terrorism, all of them males
