Therefore, the constitution becomes more important during a democratic transition because of its role in building a state of law and promoting and protecting rights and freedoms.

Constitutional engineering and constitutional construction aims to break authoritarian regimes through various mechanisms, including temporary constitutional declarations, the Constituent Assembly, or constitutional amendment that creates a country in which fundamental rights are respected.
