تطور الحركة الوطنية في السودان 1919-1924

Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to shed light on the development of the National Movement in Sudan from1919-1924, the period during which Sudanese people developed a feeling of belongingness that was transferred to the society.

The study uses descriptive, historical and analytical approaches to analyze the data collected from sources.

It is found that National Movement in Sudan was a result the interaction of political, civilization/ cultural and the world's circumstances then.

The study also shows that the Sudanese national movement was natural because of the political and civilizational conflict that took place between the British occupation administration in Sudan and the Sudanese patriotic youth affected by the international conditions that prevailed in that period after the First World War.

All these contributed to, the Sudanese feeling of their nationalism and the necessity of their liberation.

This feeling was translated into revolutions to get independence.
