Abstract EN

The philosophical terms used by Ibn Rushd in his book “The Essential in Syntax industry” can be Considered as an attempt in Morphosyntax because they were based on encyclopedic philosophical insight with an innovative tendency.

The primary purpose of the study is to reveal his objectives.

Besides, the study also attempts to shed light on Ibn Rushd's innovative tendency.

The study concludes that Ibn Rushd was successful in combining the philosophical concept of the term and its syntactic function, and that terminological borrowing is a form of innovation in Arabic syntax
