Our study seeks to identify tourism investment and its development relationship with the tourism sector in Algeria, by diagnosing the reality of tourism investment in Algeria, and its contribution to achieving economic and social development during the period 2000-2017, the analytical, descriptive approach was relied upon, and the study concluded that tourism investment is One of the pillars of tourism development is the cornerstone of building advanced tourism, as the study found a decline in tourism investments due to the austerity policy in Algeria, which led to a decrease in investment in the tourism sector, and this shows neglect and marginalization to which the tourism sector is exposed compared In other sectors, despite the great role that this sector plays, whether economically or socially, by contributing to the development process.
