Oued Souf has been following the Ibadhi school for centuries.

but an emergency shift quickly transformed it into the Maliki school, which entered it with the immigration of Arabs strongly since the seventh century AH.

The Maliki school of jurisprudence began to emerge with its features, especially in the eleventh century AH (17 AD).

This research deals with the role of scholars of Oued Souf in spreading the Maliki school of legal thought in southeastern Algeria
