Foreign investment is a factor that reflects the attractiveness of the business climate in a country for foreign and even domestic investors.

According to the World Bank and the United Nations, the United Arab Emirates is one of the most appropriate and attractive Arab countries for business and investment.

This study aims to identify the reality of foreign investments in this country and the most important elements that allowed it from this advanced rank, by analyzing the data published by the official authorities of the State.

The study found that the United Arab Emirates is witnessing steady growth in the volume and value of its foreign investment, through various tax and legal incentives, as well as the availability of all the necessary resources and facilities to consolidating existing investments and attracting new investments.

The study also showed that foreign investment in the UAE was mainly split between direct investment and investment related to deposits and loans.

The most profitable sectors are financial, real estate and commercial activities, while portfolio investments are mainly related to financial activities and insurance activities, as do other foreign investments.
