Abstract EN

The public relationship over the past year has been considered a secondary function, which is used only in special cases and specific circumstances, However, in recent years it has not been the same, so that the public relation hip has become a basic function that is not needed in modern administration in addition to the communication with the outside audience.

The study an attempt to shed light on the relation in the Algerian local administration and the Directorate of Education for the State of Jijel as a model, and the extent to which it gives it the stature of it.

Through the Study of methods and investigation of its activities and obstacles that effect their effectiveness, based on the following main question: What is the nature of public relation in the Directorate of Education of city of Jijel? The study aimed at addressing the public relation in the Directorate of Education in Jijel State as a model for local administration bay identifying the obstacles and coordination problem facing the general relationship in the Directorate of Education and Jijel.

In our study, we relied on analytical descriptive approach because it is more appropriate to study nature of public relation and the Algerian local administration, using the questionnaire tool as a main means.

The interview and observation are tow auxiliary data.
