Abstract EN

This paper studies worldliness as a "term" which took various forms in Edward Sa`id's.

"Worldliness" is related to the concepts of "Closeness" and "Distant" in their contextual connotation.

The terms "Secularism" and "Non-religious" are used alternatively to describe the "literary texts" in their attempts to reveal the identity of these texts as they are texts included in time and conditions of reality, relativity, that is, the literary texts included in time and conditions of reality, relativity, that is, the literary texts exist in "the world".

"Secularism" is related to knowledge, and it disconnects literary texts from ethics in their general concept.

Furthermore, this paper tries to reveal the theme of "Secularism" as a critical and cultural strategy that is resistant to both the decline of reality and to the Western centralism and what resulated from it the state of sharp polarization between the Western idea and the Eastern idea.

This paper also attempts to identify a "Worldlinest" vision instead of the clash of civilizations through the transformation from the culture of filiation to affilation to contribute to reconstructing balance in the world.
