Abstract EN

The study aimed to uncover the forms of bullying that Saudi students are exposed to, its relationship to the level of mathematical literacy, and the extent to which there is a difference between male and female students in the level of mathematical literacy depending on the variables (gender, level of bullying, and the interaction between them).

The study used the descriptive approach based on the data of Saudi students in (PISA 2018) study, which was collected through the mathematical literacy test and the student questionnaire, and its sample consisted of (5223) male and female students, and the results showed: The most common form of bullying that Saudi students are exposed to is "ridicule by other students, " while it came second "other students spread bad rumors about me" and that male students are more vulnerable to bullying than female students; The percentage of female students who were never subjected to bullying was higher than the percentage of male students in all forms of bullying, and the results also showed a negative statistically significant relationship ( 0.01≥α ) between each forms of bullying and the level of mathematical literacy among Saudi students, while no difference was found statistically significant at (α≥ 0.05) according to the gender variable among the average level of mathematical literacy among Saudi students, while a statistically significant difference was found at (α≥ 0.05) according to the variable of the level of bullying among the average level of mathematical literacy among Saudi students in favor of the least vulnerable for bullying, it also revealed that the average level of mathematical literacy for female students who are not subjected to bullying is greater than their male counterparts, and the average of mathematical literacy for students who are bullied once or more per week is greater than their female counterparts, while there was no difference in the level of mathematical literacy among students, depending on the gender variable when they are bullied a few times a year or a few times a month.

In light of its findings, the study made some recommendations.
