Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the reality of the use of e-learning technology by teachers to teach students who have learning disabilities in Kuwait.

To that end, a tool for the study was designed, a questionnaire consisting of 30 phrases, divided into three axes related to the use of e-learning technology and its requirements and constraints.

The study population consisted of the 230 teachers working in primary and middle schools attended by students with learning disabilities in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Area.

The findings revealed that the use of e-learning technology for students who have learning disabilities is at a low level; that the requirements available for utilizing this technology are in fact mediocre; and that the process of using the technology is restricted to a large extent by a number of constraints.

They also revealed that there are no statistically significant differences between the average sample estimates for this reality due to the variables of gender, academic qualification and number of years of service; and the same holds true for the use of technology and its constraints as per the variable of school stage.

However, statistically significant differences were detected between the sample estimates for the availability of the requirements of technology use as per the variable of school stage in favor of middle schools.
