Abstract EN
Historical writing in its economic dimension is complex and requires the researcher to equip himself with specific methodological and research tools, and to examine historical sources and references to extract, analyze and link historical events scientifically, focusing on economic events and scenarios in dealing with the event.
This study attempts to provide a model for this historical vision of the economy.
It aims to shed light on the economic conditions and economic activity of Oman in East Africa during the reign of Sayyid Said bin Sultan, by reviewing the history of the Arin East Africa and the Arab presence in the African continent.
The study also aims to know the size and diversity of economic activity such as agriculture, trade, industry and the role of the Omani fleet in contributing to economic activity in East Africa during that period
