Abstract EN

The study aimed at determining the practice level of transformational leadership dimensions and Crisis Management Styles (escape, confrontation, containment) adopted from the point of view of academic leaders at Taif University, and to explore the impact of transformational leadership dimensions practice in applying the crisis management Styles in the university.

A questionnaire was built for data collection which had achieved an accepted levels of validity and stability.

The study population consisted of (177) academic leaders at Taif University.

The number of respondents to the questionnaire was (123).

Descriptive statistics and simple regression were used to arrive at results that showed the availability of the transformational leadership dimensions falls within the high level in general.

And also the level of crisis management Styles applied had come in a high level, with the exception of escape mode, which was found to be applied at a medium level.

The study also revealed that the availability of the transformational leadership dimensions in general, explain that crisis management techniques used by the average of (41.9%).The study showed a positive effect of applying the transformational leadership dimensions, with coping and containment Styles, while the practice of the transformational leadership dimensions affects is negatively affected when the escape Style is used.
