The current century has witnessed rise of regional powers that have determinants to play an important international role and trying to find opportunities to be involved in international decision-making.

One of these is India which has determinants to play an important international role with political assets as the largest democracy of the world, economic determinants such as the economic successes since the beginning of the century, and military determinants with its conventional wepons and nuclear arsenal.

All of these support India’s forgien tendencies which has been increased recently and this is reinforced by the establishment of India means for its international role represented in the regional and international groupings, and its partnership with major powers.
