Abstract EN

The current research aimed at developing some digital citizenship skills in: digital access, digital communication, digital literacy, digital security and safety, digital etiquette, digital rights and responsibility, digital law, and digital commerce as well as developing mental flexibility among students of the faculty of specific education during spring semester 2019-2020.

The researcher used the experimental design known as extended one design with pretest and posttest.

The second experimental group learned the educational content through a mobile learning environment based on the theory of successful intelligence.

The research tools consisted of an achievement test to measure the cognitive aspect of digital citizenship skills, a situation test to measure the performance aspect of digital citizenship skills, and a scale for mental flexibility.

The results of the research reached the effectiveness of the mobile learning environment based on the theory of successful intelligence in developing the cognitive and performance aspect of digital citizenship skills and mental flexibility among students of the Faculty of Specific Education (the research sample).

According to the research results, a number of recommendations were presented, and in order to complete the findings of the research, a set of future research and studies were proposed.
