The research addresses an essential issue namely .

The Trend of the Literary Translation of the Holy Qur'an by pro- fessor Amin A1 Khouli.

The research addresses the étart of this call by him , and the pro- gram he had adopted .

and his references upon which he had based his approach.

The research also discusses some issues resulting from A1 Khouli's call including the deprival Of the holiness of the Qur'anic text , and confinement of the Qur'anic context to the literary text , as well as omission of critical terms upon the Qur'anic text.

The research ends with the approach of the literary Qudy of the Qur'anic text by looking upon it as a law for the entire system as well as a source of knowledge.

In addition , the research looks upon the Qur'anic text as the peak of the Arabic style being el- oquent and well-organized with respect to its holy nature which makes it unparalleled compared to other texts.
