Abstract EN

The aim of this investigation is to realize the Athletes ethics and relationship with orientation towards dimensions of sporting excellence of football players in the province of Kurdistan Iraq as well as the nature of the relationship among athletes ethics and relationship with orientation towards dimensions of sporting excellence of football playersResearcher have used the descriptive method for being convenient with the nature of the research.

The population of the research was represented by (132) football players who participated in Kurdistan province tournament for the sport season (2016-2017) in the amount of (5) clubs.

The sample of the research has been chosen from players belong to clubs that took part in the tournament according to a after excluding (10) players that represent the sample of invariability, (6) players that represent the sample of the exploratory experiment and (13) players who were not able to complete the answers on the scales.

Thus, the total number of the research sample has become (103) players.

Researcher have applied two measurement tools in the research, the Athletes ethics scale and orientation towards dimensions of sporting excellence scale.

Data obtained by the researcher were handled through using (arithmetic mean, normative deviation, percentage law, Pearson's simple correlation coefficient and hypothetical mean law).

Researchers have concluded the following: -The players of football in the premier League of the Kurdistan region have a high level of athletes ethics and orientation towards dimensions of sporting excellence and all dimensions.

- The existence of a relationship positive between the athletes ethics and orientation towards dimensions of sporting excellence of superiority in the players of football players in the Premier League for the Kurdistan region.
