The goal of current research to detect obstacles to the participation of university students for volunteer work and methods of addressing them.

The researchers used the descriptive and analytical approach to achieving the goals of research by applying a questionnaire to a sample of 120 students from Anbar University students.

To ensure the veracity of the tool has researchers used the Pearson correlation coefficient to determine the degree of each phrase with the total score of the link tool has been consistent all paragraphs in the variable measurement.

The researchers used Alvakronbach the stability coefficient reaching reliability coefficient .(0.76) is a good stability of plants The results of the study on the existence of obstacles prevent students from participating in volunteer work.

As the average relative weight of the importance of these obstacles (4.24) (5) points this average is a very high importance.

As it agreed on the importance of these obstacles (79%) of the sample versus individuals (10%) of whom objected to the importance of these obstacles, while in line (11%) of the total study sample that those obstacles task to some extent.

According to the introduction to these obstacles the lack of centers for the definition of volunteer programs and fields in Iraqi universities, as agreed on its importance (85%) of the research sample, compared to 7% of them objected to the importance of the disabled.

In light of the results the researchers proposed a set of methods and means to address these constraints, including .sow love volunteer work in the early stages of life .
