The development in the field of informatics has led to a widespread use of the Internet among different age groups, even children, despite the positives offered by the Internet, but it is the most dangerous means used by some individuals and criminal organizations to commit computer crimes.

One of the most important of these crimes is the sexual exploitation of children on the Internet, as a result of the ease of luring children because of their poor physical and mental abilities to become victims, either for personal or commercial purposes.

In this intervention we seek to explain to one of the types of information crimes, which is the crime of sexual exploitation of children online to explain its forms, factors of prevalence and ways of preventing it.
