Abstract EN

The aim of this research is the following: * Identify the effect of mind's maps strategies in Reflective thinking of the eighth –stage in the subject of biology.

To be sure of reflective thinking the goals of research, the researcher has been formulating the following one zero hypotheses: * There is no difference statistically significant at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who are studying mind's maps strategies and the average degree of the controlled group students who are studying in the usual way, in the reflective thinking test.

The researcher selected a design was chose with a partial seizure (experimental group and a control group) with a posttest for this reflective thinking test.

The sample of study selected from (Kamar Bani Hashim base school for boys) the eighth class in the center of province of Baghdad Affiliated to the Directorate General of Education of Baghdad / Al Risafa /1,The total (71) students, who are unintentionally selected from class (B) which is consisted of (35) students to represent the experimental group, and class (A) of the (36) students to represent the control group.

The two groups are identical in the variables of (age in month, the degree of biology of the final of the first semester, the test information in the previous article biology, Raven test , reflective thinking test.

(intelligence).

The data analyzed processed statistically using (equation T-test, equation Keodr Richardson-20 equation, pearson correlation coefficient ,variance coefficient of difficulty, the discriminatory power of the paragraph, effective alternatives for the substantive paragraphs).

According to the results that were processed statistically significant results indicated the presence of a positive impact of the mind's maps strategies in the reflective thinking test.

in the average of the subject of biology.it posted a number of the recommendations and suggestions.
