The novel is considered a literary genre that has occupied theorists and critics in trying to control its concept and make aware of its limits and elements.

As a distinct narrative art in the field of prose in the amount of its diversity and overlapping with many other prose texts such as: essay, sermon, and autobiography.

This distinction between the prose arts has opened the door wide for studying the so-called overlapping literary genres, Among the races with which the novel intertwined, we find the autobiography as a different literary genre, which opened the way for writers to record their biographies and past experiences, but according to the requirements of the prose technical elements of the text of narration, characters, imagination, time, place and description.

This homogeneity created what is called "the art of autobiographical novel" or "autobiographical novel." The novel, "Oh My Prisoners," is considered one of the fictional models in which its narrator, Ayman Al-Atoum, discovers his deep experience behind prison bars, which I chose to apply to it as an autobiographical fictional text.

Accordingly, the aim to be achieved through this study is to clarify the relationship between the novel and the biography as two literary genres between them, which is called the overlap of literary genres, with deciphering the theoretical terms in the fictional text that is in our hands, and revealing the manifestations of the autobiography within the text: (Time, Place, characters, narrator, author and main character match, biographical charter.
