Bani Ziri entered Al-Andalus in the time of the Amiriyah state with little disagreement about whether their entry was at the beginning of the state's era or at the end of it, and they had a profound impact on the events that took place there.

They participated with the Ameri state in the wars that were waged against its enemies, as they then participated in the barbaric strife that was one of the results of the division of Andalusia into small principalities known as the countries of the sects based on rivalry among them, which precipitated the fall of the Umayyad Caliphate in the year 422 AH.
