Through this study, we seek to highlight the impact of excessive use of smartphones carrying various applications, which in recent times are among the most important new media at all.

Its excessive use has affected all groups of society, especially children.

The Algerian child also had his share of these technology, which he use it automatically without censorship on the part of the parents, who provided him with an atmosphere of freedom to play by downloading various games, and thus interacting with their contents, which will directly affect his behavior, his psyche, his physical health, and then his g rowth The phenomenon of children's reluctance to engage in sports activities, whether in educational institutions or in sports halls, because of their preference for this new method and the privileges it provides to them.

From this, we will try to shed light on the role of using smartphones in instilling the culture of the child's practice of sports activities from the point of view of parents in the city of Miliana, using the survey curriculum, where we distributed the questionnaire to 120 individuals.
