Abstract AR
Abstract EN
This study aims to present a new approach that assumes that the classification of hotels in the five-star system, despite its importance, does not necessarily reflect the level of customer satisfaction and how they evaluate these hotels, where customer evaluation marks are not related to the hotel's rating, this is by exploring what Trivago offer from different categories of hotels and customer evaluation marks for these hotels Based on many standard criteria.
Therefore, 520 hotels of various classifications were selected in four countries that are considered top tourist destinations, which are Turkey, Tunisia, Morocco, and France.
Subjecting these evaluations to statistical analysis, the study concluded that there is a weak correlation between hotel evaluation marks and their ratings.
and by Comparing customer evaluation for these hotels.
The study found that is significant differences in the evaluation Signs for the standard criteria, Attributed to the different host countries.
Tunisian hotels were the last in the ranking, after both Turkish, French and Moroccan hotels.
The study recommends that the traveler does not believe that his choice of hotels in the higher rating will be the best choice, and he pays a high price, while he can pay less in less-rated hotels Nevertheless he receives better services.
also, the study recommends relying on customer ratings when preferring the offered hotels.
