Abstract EN

Mosul city is well known through islamic history of the Arab world in General and as apart of Iraq great Civilisations in special.

Lately Mosul city faced a vicious attack by terorist which was confronted by great risistant.

This confrontation has left a larg nomber of personal losses and enormos damagging to the Islamic heritage specially in the old city at the right bank.

In this study, alight willbe spoted to evaluate the ammout of damagging inflicted the islamic heritage in the old part of the city due to the confrontation.

An other part of the study is to draw mapping to the old part of the city, and the surface area of each secter and showing the outer line of the city by using the GIS program and the Arc map program spesificly.
