Abstract EN

The research paper is coserned with studying the state failure in Libya by addressing political and security crises it has gone through sinse the popular uprising on February 17, 2011, all the way to the military intervention of NATO that came quickly with the events in Libya.

the study also sough to address the concept of state failure and its indicators, and project it to the Libyan case by dismantling the elements of the crisis and analyzing its cours especially since Libya has been suffering, sine overthrow of the Gaddafi regime, security chaos, political division, and a severe economic.

the severity of the crisis increased with the spread of armed groups throughouth the country, some belonging to one of the two competing governments, which deepened the crisis in mixing internal and external settlement papers for them
