The study aims to highlight the role of the Algerian food industries in getting Algeria out of the rentier dependency, and this is through knowing the obstacles that still face this sector in Algeria, and the mechanisms leading to its development, and the study concluded that the food industry in Algeria suffers from a lack of supplies and the main inputs in The manufacturing process for their products.

Therefore, the study recommended the necessity of developing a sectoral strategy to strengthen front and back integration in the field of food industries, especially between basic and support industries.
