Abstract EN

In this study, we look at the roles of various regional powers, international powers, and non-state actors towards the Syrian conflict in the Middle East region, concerning the main actors in the region, including Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, the Gulf States, Israel and the Kurds.

As well as the external polarization of international actors and powers such as the United States, Russia, China, and the European Union.

We will also rely in this study on a realistic approach by clarifying the various interests of the internal, regional, and international powers involved in the Syrian conflict and how the geopolitical, economic, and pragmatic interests play a major role in defining the starting points, roles and orientations of the various forces towards the Syrian conflict and the Middle East.

Let us finally conclude that the roles of the various actors will contribute to prolonging the Syrian conflict.
