This study investigates the concept of domestic violence and the importance of family in Islam and highlights the factors leading to domestic violence.

Among these factors are related to the perpetrator and the factors that are related to the victim.

The study also investigates the Islamic view on domestic violence and clarifies the harmful effects of such violence on individual, family, and society.

The study also recommends an effective treatment for such phenomenon.
