Abstract EN

The current research aimed at identifying the differences in the attitudes of e-counseling according to the demographic variables (gender, workplace, years of experience) and verifying the predictability of the attitudes towards e-counseling through the dimensions and the overall degree of the variables of occupational life orientation and occupational adjustment.

The researcher applied the attitudes of students counselors towards e-counseling scale, occupational life orientation scale and occupational adjustment scale on a group consisting of (262) counselors from Jazan region.

Through the comparative descriptive approach and the use of statistical treatments, the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the dimensions and the total score of the attitudes of students counselors towards e-counseling scale according to the gender and workplace, while according to years of experience, the differences were found only in the cognitive dimension at the level of 0.01 and the emotional dimension at the level of 0.05.

The results indicated that there are several predictive models of the dimensions and the overall degree of attitudes of students counselors towards e-counseling through some dimensions of the variables of occupational life orientation and occupational adjustment.

The overall score of the occupational adjustment scale contributed to the prediction of the emotional and behavioral dimensions and the overall score of the attitudes of students counselors towards e-counseling.

The total score of the occupational life orientation scale did not contribute to the prediction.

The results were discussed and recommendations and proposals for subsequent research were made.
