Abstract EN

Technological, social and economic developments have increasingly contributed to the emergence and growth of quality management principles.

As a result, organizations started to adapt and develop quality systems in order to ensure that their products and services achieve customer satisfaction.

However, customer satisfaction may not always meet the wider interest of the public and thus can be detrimental.

Previous Islamic studies have focused on the widespread understanding of quality management with less attention being given to the relevant holy texts in Sunnah and holy Quran.

Specifically, these studies were less successful in interpreting these divine messages and then to have a valuable comparison with the existing conceptualization of the construct of quality.

This study therefore tries to fill this gap by presenting a comparison between the man-made state-of-the-art evidence and holy texts in the field of quality management.
