It provides a theoretical and historical introduction about the concepts of biography, its emergence and development in the Arab and Western countries.

And it also reveals its relationship to literature in general and theater in particular.

This article focuses also on biography through the play "Apuleius" by the Algerian poet Ahmed Hamdi By studying It through two major situations, building the character and location.
