The topic of climate change as an environmental phenomenon has taken in recent years unprecedented dimensions, as it has become more threatening and impacts on nature and the economies of countries, including Algeria, because it is exposed to many natural hazards according to its environmental and geographical nature, and here appears the role of insurance companies in providing coverage against climate risks and disasters Natural.

This study aims to shed light on climate changes and the extent of their contribution to the emergence of new insurance products, which helped give insurance companies a competitive advantage, by identifying these products that cover climate risks, by conducting an analytical field study at the level of the Regional Fund for Agricultural Cooperation, Khemis Miliana Branch The study concluded with a set of theoretical and applied results, including the existence of insurance products that coincided with climate risks in order to provide the necessary insurance coverage, which distinguished the performance of companies that provide this service compared to their peers, but despite the importance of exploiting these changes in the differentiation of insurance companies from However, this is not available in a comprehensive manner with most of these companies at the level of Algeria, due to many reasons, including the high cost of covering these insurance products.
