مثلت عملية تأميم شركة النفط الأنكلو – إيرانية في عام 1951 بداية مرحلة جديدة في سياسة إيران الخارجية التي انتهت بسقوط حكومة الدكتور مصدق في عام 1953، وليس هناك من قرار آخر في تأريخ السياسة الخارجية الإيرانية قبل عام 1951 يضاهي قرار تأميم النفط هذا من حيث المضاعفات بعيدة المدى التي افرزها على الصعيدين المحلي والدولي، وقد سبق لإيران أن أقدمت على اتخاذ قرارات عديدة في مجال السياسة الخارجية، قرارات كبيرة من حيث الأهمية، إلا أنها لا يمكن أن تقارن بأي حال من الأحوال مع قرار التأميم من حيث النتائج والتداعيات.

English Abstract

The process of nationalization of the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company in 1951 marked the beginning of a new stage in Iran's foreign policy that ended with the downfall of the government of Dr.

Mossadegh in 1953, and there is no other decision in the history of Iranian foreign policy before 1951 that matches the decision to nationalize this oil in terms of far-reaching complications.

The extent that it has produced at the local and international levels, and Iran has already taken many decisions in the field of foreign policy, decisions of great importance, but it can not be compared in any way with the decision of nationalization in terms of results and repercussions.
