Abstract EN

The present study concert the jobs (plans) of city and police in Andalus in that are of the distinguished plans of the state and the ambiguity faced some historians who considered them one job (plan).

Through some of the narrations we have, it was clear that the city mayer job (plan) was not of one direction in Andalus history in that it was unified with that of the police in chief one time and independent on the others.

The research is also dealt with the features and characteristics of the mayer and the police in chief in detail and the authorities of both given by the princer and Khaliffs of Bany Umayh in Andalus
