In this article, we are going to shed light on the importance of Thracians army units in the roman army and how they used to be an important part of roman auxiliary units which helped the roman empire to stand for long time, roman army used to conquest many ancient civilisations as Egypt and Persia then expanded to large to take power on many geographical areas as Danube and Dalmatia, Britain and Balkans which contain Thrac people, so according to Latin inscriptions we are going to speak about origins Irthracians as people then their role in roman army.

so we need to speak about the origins of this Thracians tribes and their geographical zone, then we have to speak about their role and importance in the roman army units cohorts or alae which mentioned the names of Thracians units arround many roman provinces.
