Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the strongest obstacles facing the internationalization of Algerian small and medium-sized enterprises located in some western Algerian states (Chlef, Relizane, Mostaganem), through a questionnaire study.

In order to answer this problem, we use a descriptive analytical approach, and to test the assumptions presented.

We have processed to that by collecting various data related to small and medium enterprises and discussing the various theoretical aspects of internationalization.

We used the methodology of the questionnaire study.

The study concluded the following: Algerian institutions suffer from complex legal and regulatory procedures, excessive tax burdens and non- availability of the basic structures and technical installations.
