Biographical books are considered one of the unique Islamic sources, as they are concerned with defining the lives of the flags of different geographical, it same with the aim of meeting the community’s need to transfer and consolidate science and knowledge from one generation to the other.

the books of translation represent a pattern of Islamic sources that are unique in their interest in defining the course of famous figures of different geographic affiliations, in book Takmilat li-Kitab al-Silah Ibn al Abbar introduces 3610 name of scientists whether Andalusian or not, the research aims to enumerate the scholars of the middle Maghreb whose names are mentioned in this work and to trace the impact and activity of these scholars, and its scholars contributions, but also it an umdoubdetly tries to find out how much the middel Maghreb's scholars participated in the intercultural exchange imspite of all the political cumstances of that time.
