تساهم الديمقراطية التشاركية إلى حد كبير في تحقيق التنمية المحلية فهي تخلق علاقة تكاملية بين السلطة و المواطن مركزيا و محليا و هو ما من شأنه اشراك هذا الأخير في صنع القرارات التي تخص الحياة العامة و يساهم بذلك في تحقيق التنمية المحلية خاصة أمام عدم قدرة الديمقراطية التمثيلية لوحدها في تحقيق ذلك.
و أكد التعديل الدستوري الجزائري لسنة 2020 من خلال المادة الثامنة منه على أن السلطة التأسيسية ملك للشعب و أن لرئيس الجمهورية أن يلتجأ إلى إرادة الشعب مباشرة كما أكدت قوانين الادارة المحلية على ضرورة مشاركة المواطن في تسيير الشؤون المحلية
Abstract EN
Participatory democracy contributes to a large extent to achieving local development, as it creates an integral relationship between the authority and the citizen, both centrally and locally.
The Algerian Constitutional Amendment of 2020 confirmed through Article 8 of it that the constituent power belongs to the people and that the president of the republic can resort to the will of the people directly, and local administration laws emphasized the necessity of citizen participation in the conduct of local affairs.
