Abstract EN

In this article, an attempt to identify some of the deficiencies that characterized the researchers' methods of studying humans and how this negatively affected their results.

We will evaluate the options adopted in research on human beings in light of human nature and its characteristics, with the aim of shedding light on the factors that have received special attention without justification and the consequent results that are far from the essence of man, inconsistent with his nature.

We will first deal with an obvious element that researchers have long overlooked, which relates to the necessity of studying man as a human being, given that it differs from other beings and that understanding its essence is impossible if we rely only on comparing it with other creatures.

In a second stage, the focus will be on the coherence that characterizes the dimensions of the human personality versus the practical tendency to study it disjointed and deal with each part in isolation from the others, and how this has led to the distortion of the human reality in more than one aspect.

After that, we will discuss the importance of the environment in the formulation of the human personality and its great impact on his reality, but highlighting the exaggeration in showing the weight of the environment at the expense of other factors such as genetic predispositions.

We then turn to the great diversity that characterizes human life on the one hand, and the tendency to study the human being as a pattern that is repeated and to explain the human phenomenon in a typical manner, although all the evidence indicates that each person represents a special case in itself.

Paying attention to sexual differences imposes itself within the manifestations of diversity with which a person is known, and although many scholars have given them a formal attention without exploiting them in psychological, social and educational care, knowing that their presence is a prominent feature in the human scene at all times, even in the ence of one of the sexes.

One of the wrong strategies in research about humans is to select phenomena that are easy to deal with and avoid phenomena that seem complicated, and thus some aspects of a person's life may benefit from follow-up, although they may not be of interest, while others are marginalized even if their study may rise to the level of promising strategic work.
