Abstract EN

This study aims to study and analyze the relationship between the phenomenon of corruption and the Arab Spring revolutions, by applying the Egyptian case as a model, in order to test the main hypothesis (the phenomenon of corruption in the Arab Spring countries played a major role in the outbreak of revolutions in these countries), Considering the phenomenon of corruption independent variable, and the Arab Spring revolutions variable dependent, taking into account the relationship of mutual influence between the phenomenon of corruption and the Arab Spring revolutions.

The study was based on a descriptive analytical method and a method of re-analysis and synthesis.

We collected the data using the analysis of ready-made data and an interview guide that was applied to a sample of (24) individual professors and experts in sociology, economics, media and business administration to know their views on the study issues in light of their skill, experience and high efficiency in the subject of research.

The study - from Analytical reading and the opinions of the sample - reached the validity of the basic hypothesis from which the research start, as a result to the spread of corruption and the spread of various forms of failure of development policies to satisfy the basic needs of the Arab peoples or to achieve real development and social justice, "economic and social corruption.

" As well as the spread of political despotism, the ence of public freedoms, and flagrant violations of human rights "political corruption".

This has been led to - accompanied by the interaction of other factors such as the increasing use of the Internet by the youth, the social networks and the ence of any hope for peaceful change, whether by the regime or its policies through institutions such as parties or civil society organizations, and the encouragement and support of Western powers - in the end to the outbreak of the Arab Spring revolutions.
