Indeed, some of the leaders and men of the Mu'tazila made it an obligation in mental consideration and it must be taken into account and accompanied the state of al-Ghazali doubt and became one of the characteristics that His personality persisted and he began searching for the truth himself, until his doubt ended with the mental necessity that guided him to the path of revealing the truth, and through it he became the owner of a new cognitive and critical approach in Islamic thought whose effects were reflected in Western thought, specifically among the philosopher Descartes, who walked in the footsteps of Al-Ghazali, taking doubt A means of opposing tradition, which, according to Descartes, is a face of suspicion and a fundamental focus of his intellectual system.
