Abstract EN

There are several justifications including; the political, strategic, and social justifications in addition to several other ones that triggered the present research to discuss the British economy.

Following the history of the British economic relations since the end of World War II until the mid-sixties of the last century, it has been observed that this era was charcterised by the push and pull tendency, depending on the policy of the two parties workers and conservatives.

It has also depended upon the economic goals and social vision to serve their programs, which they have declared before voting in all of the parliamentary elections.

The focus of both parties on the economic side has been the first indicator to win or lose in the British election, especially when Britain emerged from the war and its economy has hit a status of weakness and deterioration that reflected on the political side.

Due to the British military capabilities and political status as a major power at both Europe and the globe, there was a need to forcify its internal status by drawing the right steps to an integrated economy and that what the British conservative Party has tried to achieve during its tenure as prime minister during nearly the decade and a half.

Thus, the present study focused on the British relations during the conservative Party government (1951 - 1964) to invesitigate the importance of these relations in the promotion and consolidation of British interior situation.
