Khumriyat is called poems that deal with the world of drink, in which the poet deals with its characteristics, names, paper, purity, ray, and light, through observing their times, and standing on their councils and what they contain of regret, bartender, singing, and fun.

The poetry of wine is as old as our Arabic poetry, and many old poets came to it, and it is still a vast field for many of our modern poets.

Our Egyptian poet, Ibn Wakee 'Al-Tennisi, is one of these poets who excelled in mentioning alcohol, and they were creative in talking about it.

Wine occupies a lot of space in his poetry, so it is not surprising that Dr.

Hussein Nassar, one of the investigators of his book, described him as a poet of wine in Egypt.

The importance of the research is attempt to study the poetry of wine from Ibn Wakee 'Al-Tennisi, and to determine his artistic treatment of this poetic color, and the developments that he brought about in this art and what followed the ancients.
